Speaker Bio: Dr. Grace Shearrer is an alum of the University of Wyoming and received her doctoral degree in Nutritional Science from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Shearrer currently works in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences at the University of Wyoming and is a Mental Health Extension Specialist. Her lab studies how the brain controls health behaviors, like intake of sugar sweetened beverages, in children, teens, and moms.
Speaker Bio: Larissa Bonnet received her master’s degree in counseling and human services from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. She is a University of Wyoming Extension Community Vitality and Health Educator in Sheridan County focused on health programming (food safety and preservation, aging well, and digital health) and leadership development (board training and county leadership training).

Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Curriculum & Instruction, or related field.
Current Wyoming PTSB Administrator certification.
Minimum 5 years of successful K–12 teaching and minimum of 3 years of administrative experience.

*Alternative High School Teacher
Full-time with comprehensive benefits available. Must have an endorsement in at least one core content area (preferably Math or Science). Also requires obtaining an endorsement in Alternative Education.

Part-Time, approximately 29 hours/week - grant funded position
Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.25/hour - Determined by experience
Job Summary: The Student Support Services staff member provides direct support to students and families while assisting with administrative and data-related functions essential to the successful operation of the alternative high school program. This position serves as a key liaison between students, families, teachers, and administrators, supporting student engagement, attendance, and academic progress in a flexible, student-centered learning environment.
